The NORTH Region Media Field Marketing Manager will lead and oversee all Marketing activities across the North region including Nordics & Benelux. This is a temporary rolefor the duration of 6 to 12 months.

You will also be required to:

  • Alignthe EMEA Media Marketing strategy, tactics and operations with the GlobalMarketing and WEB Divisional strategy.

  • Interfacewith North Regional Sales Leader to ensure local business needs areaddressed appropriately as well as individual Country leads around theregion.

  • Buildinfrastructure to drive demand and an integrated sales funnel for leadgeneration across named region/countries.

  • Useyour local market knowledge, to direct and execute programs to increaseawareness and generate demand for Akamai’s products and services.

  • Setobjectives with the Senior Director WEB Marketing, EMEA & RegionalSales Leader expected of a leading marketing organisation to delivergrowth and revenue aligned to corporate goals.

  • Analyzethe marketing funnel, channel mix and customer segmentation to formulateideas and approaches to optimize cost effective pipeline generation acrossdifferent customer segments and personas in both regions.

  • Utilisepredictive analytics tools to accelerate pipeline generation and revenueachievement

  • Successfullydelivering strategic marketing within an international organisation.

  • Successfullytake a corporate strategy and executed against it - ensuring culturalcompatibility.

  • Worksuccessfully with marketing staff across different countries and businessunits, considering cultural differences.

  • Oversee and beresponsible for the execution of local Marketing programs, events and partneractivity.

  • Overseeingand be responsible for the execution of the tactical and operational aspectsof the Marketing strategy for the North countries.

  • Wewould expect applicants to have at least 7+ years of relevant workexperience in marketing, marketing communicationsfor digital/high-technology companies/products.

  • Manage local PR Agency and driveintegrated press engagement across region.

  • Have experienceworking with indirect channel partners and building positive workingrelationships and delivering co-developed plans to help drive demand.

  • Ableto thrive in a matrix organization, leveraging and influencing others toachieve objectives

  • Be acollaborative team player, effectively interacting with employees,partners and customers at all levels within the organisation.

  • Strongwritten and verbal communication skills and can be equally effective inboth formal and informal settings with senior executives, peers andbusiness partners.

  • Achievesgoals successfully; focuses on winning in the marketplace; impacts thebottom-line; constantly challenges self and others to deliver results;acts with a sense of urgency and seizes opportunities when they arise

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

  • Strongbackground in managing lead-generation programs.

  • Experiencewith driving classic field marketing activity like events and salesenablement

  • Experiencewith driving business to business leads via online inbound tactics.

  • Proventrack record in creating innovative and targeted marketing programs thatgenerate results.

  • Self-starterwith an ability to drive to results.

  • Makeseffective, reliable, and at times, tough decisions quickly based uponanalysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment.

  • Bachelordegree in marketing, business, engineering, or relevant field of study.

  • Acareer path that demonstrates increasing levels of responsibility and aknack for driving and/or being associated with benchmark industryproducts/services.

  • Accomplishedrange of skills from strategic thinking to creative and detailedexecution.

  • Provensuccess in managing complex and multi-faceted marketing programs with the abilityto drive projects through completion.

  • Thedemonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously.

  • Mustpossess business acumen, keen business analysis skills and strongmarketing experience.

  • Marketingexperience with high tech company/product/service is a must.

  • Fluentin English mandatory
