Overview

CIO Program Management office is seeking a driven, results-oriented Program Management Analyst to facilitate the definition of complex business processes, and to drive the execution of those processes to achieve desired outcomes. This role will manage projects and/or programs impacting business goals and objectives and will lead cross-functional team(s) and subject matter experts in their development, planning, automation and implementation. The Program Management Analyst will work with Senior Program Managers and Leads to define priorities and resources allocated to initiatives or programs and will help plan and implement schedules and monitor project/program from inception through delivery. He/she will also help develop and manage communications with cross-functional team members and senior management in Engineering, Sales, Service and Support, and Finance, and may engage and oversee the work of external vendors.

As a PGM Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Defining and documenting program plans

  • Identifying areas of risk/opportunity and influencing and implementing continuous improvements to the process.

  • Defining and reporting on program status, issues and success metrics.

  • Follow up on the actions from discussions

  • Collaborating on tools and business systems required to support the process.

  • Participating in user acceptance of systems.

  • Working closely with the Senior Program Managers and Leads to understand priorities, influence decisions, propose solutions and ensure success of the process.

  • Evaluating high level business problems to identify and execute logical programs and solutions to solve the problem.

Required Education and Experience

Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent or

  • A Master’s degree in Program Management of General Management (MBA)

  • Candidate must be returning to their program of study after the completion of the co-op program

Required Skills

  • Business experience or course work, especially strategy/program management / accounting/finance

  • Microsoft Office tools – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project (+)

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Organized and able to structure information

  • Detail oriented

  • Strong verbal and written communication

  • Ability to ask good questions
