As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be focused on testing and automating highly distributed and reliable network security solutions. You are expected to work closely with different stakeholders to ensure the delivery of the high quality releases.
As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for:
Coming up with holistic test strategies encompassing functional and non-functional aspects of testing for the components that you own
Collaborating and working with the stakeholders to build new features from scratch, enhancing existing features and optimizing existing functionality
Using software development skills to design and develop test automation frameworks and tools required for testing
Creating and executing functional (integration, system) and non-functional (usability, performance, security) tests
Performing technical risk assessment and contributing to decisions related to release readiness and schedules
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
Have 5 year's of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
Demonstrate experience and knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java
Have experience developing or testing distributed software applications
Demonstrate understanding of networking concepts and experience working with internet security protocols, firewalls, and encryption technologies
Demonstrate willingness to learn new technologies as and when required by the project
Have experience working in Linux/Unix operating systems
Have experience of working in a Agile team when developing products through the SDLC
