As a Software Development Engineer in Test II, you will work with software development teams to support quality engineering practices. You will collaborate cross-functionally across Portal Engineering and support teams, come up with innovative ways to test APIs and user interfaces, and build automation framework that supports end to end use cases.
As a Software Development Engineer in Test II, you will be responsible for:
Performing full SQA cycle for software releases: understand requirements, develop test plans, run functional, regression, load and performance testing
Building/harnessing existing testing tools and automated testing frameworks written in Java and maintaining regression test suite using CI/CD pipeline
Developing API and UI automated tests based on identified business use cases
Participating in design and code reviews, software maintenance releases, and documentation of test cases and results
Developing new approaches to solve technical and process gaps identified during Quality Engineering activities
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
Have 2 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
Have understanding of software quality and software development engineering, and agile methodologies
Have experience with backend automation using Java, Rest Assured, Json, SQL, TestNG and hands-on with front end automation using Selenium or any other industry standard framework
Be familiar with CI tools (i.e. Jenkins), version control software (i.e. Git,) and Jira process
Demonstrate attention to detail and quality, while working with a sense of urgency
Have excellent investigating, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills across the full stack
