About the Job

The Senior Business Operations Analyst will be a key member of the Sales Operations team and provide support for the EMEA sales organization. The role is based in London/Addlestone and the person will report to the Manager of Sales Operations for our sales operations organization in EMEA. As a member of the team, the Business Operations Analyst will be in the forefront of sales metrics and analytics environment. This individual will also partner with the sales management team across EMEA.


  • Ensure effective data management and reporting on key metrics for sales operations. Create reports and analyze data for patterns that indicate problems that need to be addressed or opportunities to investigate. Investigate root causes and work with sales leadership and management to address them.

  • Communicate effectively with business resources in a timely manner. Exhibit superior verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management, and key business partners.

  • Work closely with internal customers to understand current and future business needs.

  • Exhibit the ability to take initiative, work with minimal daily direction, and prioritize time effectively to deliver in a timely manner.

  • Identify and analyze any needs and trends requiring special attention

Sales Enablement:

  • Partner with Akamai’s Sales Enablement and Program Management team to develop, deliver, and maintain operational training of sales systems and processes for our Sales Specialist new hire on-boarding program

  • Partner with Akamai’s Tools & Reporting team to implement and leverage sales enabling platforms/tools. Monitor the sales specialist organization’s compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data

  • Support the reporting and business cadence to proactively inspect and manage Akamai direct sales team.

  • Leverage Salesforce.com to provide analytics on product specific deal commitments and pipeline.

Basic Qualifications

  • Relevant BusinessOps experience and a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience inthe high-tech industry a plus

  • Ability toeffectively communicate complex topics to a broad audience including technicaland non-technically driven functions.

  • Drive forresults.

  • Stronganalytical and quantitative capabilities are required.

  • Familiaritywith Salesforce.com and additional experiences with a CRM system is requiredwith hands on salesforce transformations preferred.

  • Stronganalytical skills with ability to provide data-backed analysis.

  • Advanced userin Microsoft Excel and proficient other MS Office tools for managing data
