Partner with the best
Our Cloud team is responsible for developing our high-performance SaaS Cloud Platform. This Enables Akamai-ESG to release faster, larger scale, and monitor our various deployments. It's a diverse team that includes both SREs and Software Engineers.
As a Senior SecOps Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Developing/improving/maintaining Guardicore's Cyber Security SaaS platform. Incorporating security practices into our infrastructure and automation processes.
Collaborating with development and operations teams to embed security measures into the entire software development lifecycle.
Staying current with security standards/regulations. Identifying security innovation tools/lead implementation solutions from proof of concept to production.
Managing/implementing cloud security controls - identity, access management, organizational policies. Evolving our tooling/logging/monitoring/alerting systems,increasing observability and transparency.
Practicing infrastructure as a code (IaC) using Terraform and GitOps, utilizing ArgoCD to automate and manage infrastructure.
Triaging and Solving platform issues during day-to-day operations. Collaborating with Guardicore's Development and Research groups.
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
Have relevant experience as an SRE/DevOps. Have the mindset/approach for automating away from manual efforts (Python, Golang).
Experience in onboarding Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), Software Composition Analysis (SCA).
Experience in triaging security alerts/executing incident response. Experience with building, configuring, and managing patch management tools.
Have experience in modern container orchestration projects (Kubernetes). Have experience with cloud vendors - GCP, Azure, AWS.
Have critical thinking and ability to balance security requirements with mission needs. Have an innovative approach.
Have experience building and maintaining monitoring and alerting capabilities using tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, etc.
